SECTION 00020 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
TOWN OF LEXINGTON
BID NO. 18-011
The Town of Lexington will be accepting sealed bids for sewer system improvements for relocation of an 8-inch sanitary sewer force main along Barr Road and Pisgah Church Road to avoid new storm drainage installation. Project will consist of installation of approximately 630 LF of DR18 PVC force main, joint restraint, valves, fittings and other miscellaneous and related items. Contract documents and plans may be obtained from HPG and Company, Consulting Engineers, Inc., 1432 Sunset Boulevard, West Columbia, SC 29169 upon a non-refundable payment of $40.00.
Bids will be received by the Owner in Conference Room C, located on the 2nd floor of the Lexington Municipal Complex at 111 Maiden Lane, Lexington, SC until 2:00 pm on September 19, 2018 and then at said place be publicly opened and read aloud. Sealed bids should be clearly labeled with the bid number. Sealed bids may be mailed to the Town of Lexington, Attn: Sherry Brooks, Post Office Box 397, Lexington, South Carolina 29071.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality.
The Bid is subject to the Town’s Formal vendor preference requirements.
